Cling Cloth Beeswax Food Wraps are Simple to Use
Cling Cloth beeswax food wraps are versatile, and can be used for just about anything you previously reached for the cling film or a plastic bag to keep. They feel great to use, and look stylish in your kitchen. Say good bye to single use plastic, and hello to fresher food!
Beeswax has low melting temperature, so all it takes is the warmth of your hands and a few seconds to form a seal around your food or bowl. The Cling Cloth protects food from air and moisture, but allows the natural gasses that are produced by the food to escape, so it can breathe and will last longer. Just like nature’s solution of rinds, peels, and skins – simple.
In the fridge your Cling Cloth will become slightly stiff and the seal will hold. Over time they will become very soft, but they will keep their cling.
To wash your Cling Cloth, simply use cool water and a little soap if needed, and air dry. Store in a cool, dry place.
You should not microwave your cloth, or expose them to hot temperatures.
We do not recommended using Cling Cloth with raw meats. Some foods may stain the cloth, but that will not affect their preservative properties.
Cling Cloth will last up to a year or more depending on usage. At any time you can trim them or cut into smaller pieces. When you find they have lost their cling, you can cut them up, add them to your compost and they will biodegrade!
